As we begin another exciting season at Fiji Golf Association, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your continued support and dedication to our club. It is truly a privilege to serve as your president and to be part of such a vibrant and passionate golf club.
I also want to take this opportunity and wish all a healthy, happy, prosperous and a safe 2025.
We are specially thrilled this year as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary of Fiji Golf Association. Founded in 1995 with just a handful of members, 15 to be exact, we have worked diligently, weaving through the ups and downs and today we are 50 plus members.
Our Executive Management team has worked unconditionally to enhance the comradery amongst members as well as the game of golf, ensuring the competitiveness of the game and the enjoyment that comes with it still strives.
I also want to recognize the incredible efforts of our volunteers as well as our sponsors. Their commitment to excellence is what makes Fiji Golf Association such a special place. Please join me in thanking them all whenever you have the chance.
As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas. This club is built on the collective vision of its members, and your input is invaluable in helping us grow, thrive and make our club even better than last year.
Our golf season will start in the last week of March 2025 and culminates with our Tournament of Champions in the last week of September 2025.
We encourage and continually welcome new members to join FGA and to participate in all the activities mentioned above. We also welcome visitors to play a round or two with FGA members to get better acquainted with our operations and to see firsthand what FGA all is about.
Visitors can also take a closer look at our Association, our Mission, our Vision and learn more about FGA either by navigating through this website or simply contacting any of the Directors to obtain further information and/or membership Application package.
We encourage good sportsmanship; we look to our members to observe the rules of golf both local, Association and the House rules and always show your golfing etiquette to make the game of golf more enjoyable for everyone both on and off the golf course.
In closing, unequivocally, your present Board of Directors raised the bar in striving to provide members with a memorable golf experience at all events held by FGA. I must say it will be a tough act to follow but follow we must. Let’s make 2025 even better!
Let’s all focus our energy in playing good golf, participating in the Association events through out the season and in the process help our Golf Association grow better and stronger.
