1995 – 2025

Our History

Fiji Golf Association of Canada came to fruition in the summer of 1995. A group of family members, along with a bunch of friends, got together and formulated a set of rules and hit the fairways for a competitive round of golf. At the 19th hole, where most decisions are made, the general consensus amongst those present was to establish an organised golfing body where all diehards could come and participate in competitive golf. The seed was planted and Fiji Golf Association of Canada was incorporated and a business entity came into being. The original founding members were 18, but today, on our 30th Anniversary, we have over 50 members who get together regularly between March and September to compete for various trophies and prizes.

Our Mission

To promote and encourage good fellowship amongst the members of the Association, and to advance and raise awareness of the game of golf not only within the Fijian community but also within the community at large.
