Our Beginnings

Fiji Golf Association of Canada came to fruition in the summer of 1995. A group of family members along with bunch of friends got together and formulated set of rules and hit the fairways for a competitive round of golf. At the 19th hole and where most of the decisions are made the general consensus amongst those present was to formulate and incorporate an organized golfing body where all diehards could come and participate in competitive golfing. The seed was planted and Fiji Golf Association of Canada was incorporated and a business entity came into being.The original founding members were 18 but today on our 19th Anniversary we have 50 playing members who get together on a regular basis between March – October to play for various trophies and prizes.

Our Mission

To promote and encourage good fellowship amongst the members of the Association, the advancement and awareness of the game of golf not only within the Fijian community but community at large.
